Azobisisobutyronitrile

Azobisisobutyronitrile, abbreviated as AIBN, has a chemical formula of C8H12N4, and is soluble in organic solvents such as methanol, ethanol, ether, acetone, petroleum ether and aniline. When exposed to heat, nitrogen and organic cyanide containing -(CH2)2-C-CN groups are liberated. It decomposes slowly at room temperature, and rapidly decomposes at 100 ℃. Can cause explosion and fire, flammable. poisonous. The released organic cyanide is more harmful to the human body.
