Ethylene carbonate (EC) is an organic solvent with excellent performance, which can dissolve a variety of polymers; it can also be used as an organic intermediate, which can replace ethylene oxide for dioxylation reaction, and is a transesterification method to produce carbonic acid. The main raw material of dimethyl ester; it can also be used as a raw material for synthesizing furazolidone, water glass slurry, fiber finishing agent, etc.; in addition, it is also used in lithium battery electrolyte. Ethylene carbonate can also be used as an active intermediate in the production of lubricating oil and grease.
